Our bodies are 70% water. Lose just 6% of that water and you
become
dehydrated.
As we age, we lose our sensation of thirst, and tend to drink less.
Dehydration leads directly to urinary tract infections, kidney failure, falls, broken
limbs,
increased risk of death following a stroke and a host of life-threatening complications.
Use of antibiotics to treat many of these ailments builds up antibiotic
resistance, often
with
fatal results
Droplet®-Tracker mugs and tumblers discretely measure how much the user is drinking
Drinks from both mugs and tumblers are combined so that you can see the total of all drinks consumed.
Made from dishwasher-proof, food-safe, lightweight materials. (electronic base must be removed before washing).
Mug designs can be personalised with individual messages from loved ones.
Children, grandchildren and loved ones can record their own encouraging and reminding messages.
Internet connection allows all information to be seen by both the users, their loved ones and carers wherever they are. Mugs and tumblers are linked together to give a complete view of what the user has drunk
Drinking information is processed by powerful cloud-based computing which sends vital information in simple graphic form to smartphones and computers.
The intelligent capsule in the base of the mugs and tumblers measures fluid consumption, links to our cloud server, talks and lights up with reminders and communicates to carers.
We are work together to improve lives by helping people to stay well hydrated.

Read MoreDroplet®-Tracker is a modular hydration solution that encourages people to drink more, more often. It has been developed in conjunction with over 100 Health Care Professionals to reduce people's risk of dehydration. The heart of the system is a sophisticated internet-connected base capsule that can measure how much the user is drinking. It compares their actual consumption with the amount that they should have drunk by that point in their day. If they aren't drinking enough, it uses flashing lights and spoken messages to encourage the user to drink.
All the information on drinking and the state of the users' hydration can be seen by not only the user but also their chosen loved ones and carers wherever they are in the world. All use and storage of this data complies with the Data Protection Act 2018.
At night the base capsule glows gently so your mug or tumbler can be seen in the dark. The base capsule is easily attached to the bottom of the Droplet®-Tracker Mug or Tumbler. Droplet®-Tracker is very simple to use. It is powered by 3 AAA batteries which will last approximately 3 weeks. When the batteries need replacing, a message is sent to your dashboard and email.
Our bodies are 70% water. Lose just 6% of that water and you become dehydrated. Dehydration isn’t just dangerous; it can also lead to many serious illnesses.
As you age, your natural thirst response lessens, and this gradually lowers the body’s ability to regulate its fluid balance. Staying properly hydrated is a really simple way to decrease the chances of developing urinary tract infections, kidney problems and much more.
Well hydrated people tend to suffer less constipation, use less laxatives, have fewer falls and, for men, may have a lower risk of bladder cancer. They are less likely to need antibiotics to cure urinary infections, and this helps to reduce the risk of developing infections that are resistant to normal antibiotic treatments.
Many children are worried that their older parents are not drinking enough to stay healthy. If their parents give them permission, Droplet®-Tracker allows them to see at any time if their parent has been drinking, and if so, have they drunk enough. The automatic messaging system will also send them warnings if their parents are likely to become dangerously dehydrated.
Droplet®-Tracker reminds people to drink more, more often, via verbal and visual prompts.
The Droplet®-Tracker Mug, Tumbler and Flow Control lid are all dishwasher safe. The base capsule has electrical components so DO NOT put it in water or in a dishwasher. Gently clean the base using a damp cloth or anti-bacterial wipe.
If by mistake the base is left attached to either the mug or tumbler and put into the dishwasher, it will start flashing. This will remind you to remove it before washing
The warning light and messages can be set to repeat every 20, 40 or 60 minutes if the cup has not been drunk from. They can also be turned off. If you want, you can have the warning lights and messages coming on at differing frequencies. To check the current light and message time settings log into the portal.
The Smart base requires 3 x AAA 1.5v batteries. These can be rechargeable or single-use. Simply use the red key to twist anticlockwise and open the battery compartment, insert 3 x AAA 1.5v batteries in the correct polarity and close the compartment.
When you insert the last battery, the base will flash blue once, to reassure you that you have inserted the batteries the right way round
The mug and tumbler are microwaveable, however, the base module must be removed before microwaving.
Yes, hot drinks can be placed in both the mug and tumbler.
